Q: Krazy Ken, what's the deal with shipping?
A: First of all, chain is heavy. Here's the way we handle it. Small items (under 20 lbs.) are usually shipped US Postal Service. This is the cheapest way and is usually $8-15.
Packages over 20 lbs. are usually shipped UPS or Spee-Dee. Remember, if we are shipping to a residence there are extra fees. If you are out in the boondocks, they charge an extra fee.
Small packages are usually shipped same day if order is received by 1 p.m. for UPS and by 3:30 p.m. for US Postal Service.
Q: What about aprons and heavy stuff?
A: We still use UPS for most items up to 125 lbs. and we use Spee-Dee for some deliveries in their service area.
Packages over 125 lbs. usually go by truck. Please be advised that a farm is considered a residence and not a business. Could've fooled you, right?
Freight companies charge an extra fee for these deliveries. Watch out.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PROVIDE A BUSINESS ADDRESS FOR HEAVY ITEMS!
Q: What about international shipments?
A: Small packages are usually shipped US Postal Service (up to 50 lbs. depending on location).
For Canadian shipments, UPS is an option for most places.
There is an extra fee for customs paperwork.
We are unable to ship manure spreader aprons internationally at this time.
We know freight costs are high, but we try our best to ship the cheapest and fastest way to you.
